Ryan Williams, called “Ryno” by some, is a songwriter/writer from Dallas, TX. After lame high school attempts at “musicing,” he cut his teeth in the Hill Country/Austin music scene while a student at Texas State University. After a nomadic 20’s spent playing music, road tripping, and finding life; Ryan changed his instagram username to “@rynosurus” and decided to just put out music under that same moniker, Rynosurus. Since, you know, it’s easier to just say “follow me on instagram… there’s links to the music on Apple music/Spotify/whatever they’re calling IGTV these days (for the acoustic vids), and hey, a follow would be cool, too. My dog is pretty awesome.”

He’s influenced by The Beatles (but I mean, who isn’t), thinks Lights’ “Midnight Machines” record is a masterpiece, got tipped $100 bucks at a restaurant patio gig for playing Tom Petty, and saw a (to put it lightly) VERY large drunken man propose to his college “Red Dirt” band’s guitar player (Ryan was the bassist) in an empty-ish Nachogdoches college bar at 1 am… mid song.

He also occasionally writes in the third person.
